Prior to your evaluation, you will be sent documents that need to be completed before you arrive.

For pediatric clients, you can expect the initial evaluation to range from 60 to 90 minutes depending on the complexity and needs of the child. For children under the age of 8, the evaluation will consist of formal testing and observation with play. For children between the ages of 8 and 18, the evaluation will consist of formal assessment as well as informal observation during conversational tasks. Adolescent clients will typically be expected to complete self-rating scales related to their area of need.

Adult clients can expect an initial evaluation to range from 90 to 120 minutes and will consist of formal testing and client interview.

There will be time at the end of the initial session to answer any additional questions you might have as well as to provide you with feedback regarding the preliminary results. 

If needed, a follow-up session will be scheduled to review the results of the assessment, discuss recommendations and plan treatment goals/outcomes and number of sessions.

The length of time and hours spent per week will vary greatly depending on your individual needs. There are a variety of options available and will be determined by what works best for your schedule and your ability to practice your home program.

“Participating” and being “in-network” with an insurance carrier does not guarantee that the services needed will be a covered benefit. 

If you have an insurance carrier that we do not participate with, we can provide you with a superbill to submit your own claims for reimbursement. You will be required to pay for services up front.

Payments can be made by check or by credit card through our online client portal.
